Need to get away from the city? Want to check out some of the fun day trips around the area? Join Beyond DC to experience the small towns (and sometimes big cities) that are outside of the Washington DC metropolitan area. We usually leave after breakfast and are home before dinner, but don’t rule out a late night return or even an overnight trip! Last year, we visited the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Philadelphia, NYC at Christmas, and the NSA Cryptologic Museum near Baltimore (among other places). We’re planning to see new locations and experiences this year as we tour and explore “Beyond DC”.
